About Screamie Birds

I grew up halfway between Disneyland and the beach with a love for books, music, and Disney with dreams of international travel via cruise ships. Oh, did I mention romance? How perfect that I would find myself in Central Florida with my husband and 3 cats halfway between Walt Disney World and cruise ports.

But how did my dreams become reality? The short story is this: the music began with Southern California high school musicals, which led to writing for Silicon Valley technology companies, to soaking up Las Vegas and cruise ship nightlife to creating electronic music with an Indie Pop flair (released under Screamie Birds). And moving between Las Vegas and Central Florida more than a few times.

Oh, and I may have written a novel or two set on cruise ships (published as Kathy Holmes). And sailed on 23 cruises with 4 booked.

And then there was the Disney blog (journaling our first time living in Central Florida) that was published as a book (which led me to working for the WDW IT department and later blogging for The Orlando Sentinel) covering what else but Disney stuff?
