Kathy grew up in Southern California with a book in one hand and a transistor radio in the other. She wrote her first song with a childhood friend and they called themselves the “Screamie Birds.”

After starting her career in Electronic Publishing in San Francisco, Kathy segued into Silicon Valley technical writing. But after Silicon Valley burnout, she started writing novels and then returned to her first love: music and found her way back to production.

A lover of all things percussion, she discovered why when she met her father and he said, “All my kids play the drums.”
